I am a private investor who has spent the past 11 years in the financial services industry and looking to invest in something I am truly passionate about. This consists predominantly of food and beverage, hospitality and real estate, but am also open to creative ideas in the internet/e-commerce space. My goal is to find entrepreneurs with creative concepts so that I can (i) learn about/gain experience from the venture and (ii) achieve reasonable rate of return (15-20% over a 10yr horizon).

I have a Masters degree in Fine Arts from the Chicago Art Institute and a Bachelors Degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. These companies are globally spread (EU, US, Canada and Asia) and are typically NOT START UPS (even though I have worked with and helped start ups). They are companies in growth mode that are looking to IPO in the next few years but require additional capital /best practice marketing and selling to grow to their true potential. Hands on with an MBA majoring in marketing and accounting, I am well rounded and experienced at helping good software companies become GREAT software companies. As well as investing in these companies directly, I have and do also helped prepare and raise considerable funds (+$5M) FOR PRE IPO stage.
